WEBCON BPS 2025 – the latest version of the platform for business process automation
New features and improvements in WEBCON BPS 2025
The new version of the platform includes, among other things, changes in functionality, an improved interface that is more intuitive and user-friendly, and an updated security enhancement.
New application page
The portal interface is based on Microsoft’s Fluent 2 design system, making it modern, intuitive for users to master, and perfectly blending aesthetics with functionality.
The new solutions in terms of functionality allow users to navigate the system more easily and manage business processes more efficiently.
One of the key elements of the new interface is the refreshed navigation, which allows for quicker access to key functions and documents. The menu has been reorganized, and clearer icons and labels have been added, making it more intuitive to find the required options. Users can now smoothly navigate between different modules without the need to scroll through multiple screens.
The new version of the platform also introduces an updated appearance and new functionalities in the menu navigation area. Administrators can now hide and manage certain elements, such as reports and dashboards, by directing them to the appropriate folders.
The configuration options for color themes have also been expanded, with three types to choose from (Light, Dark, or High Contrast).
Additionally, the portal now adopts a new custom color scheme – WEBCON Irys. The page colors are automatically generated based on the selected application color, creating a harmonious appearance without the need for manual style changes.
Dashboard widgets
In the new version of WEBCON BPS 2025, two dashboard widgets have been introduced: the Description Panel and the Navigation Grid. Both widgets are designed to enhance user convenience and efficiency, providing more advanced navigation from the main panel. With these new tools, companies can create an attractive visual homepage that makes it easier to access key application resources.
Description panel
The Description Panel widget is a flexible tool that allows you to combine both images and text, along with up to four navigation buttons. By enabling the addition of graphics, the Description Panel serves as a visual landmark on the dashboard. Users can embed an image that occupies up to half of the widget’s space, with its position adjustable according to one of four available layout schemes. This makes the Description Panel not only a navigation tool but also an aesthetic enhancement for the dashboard, helping users quickly access selected reports, Start buttons, or other key application resources.
Navigation Grid
The Navigation Grid provides users with even greater flexibility in creating a tile-based layout. Within the widget, tiles can include an image or icon, text, and a navigation button. The chosen tile layout scheme is applied to all tiles within the Grid, ensuring visual consistency. Each tile can link to a different section of the application, allowing users to create a simple and organized navigation structure.
Phases and actors in process design
The application has been enhanced with process modeling features, including phases and actors, allowing for the visual assignment of stages and individuals responsible for tasks. Users can now also view the current stage of the process on the form, making it easier to track the status of cases.
The main goal is the visual division of steps and associated tasks according to the execution stages (phases) and the individuals responsible for carrying them out (actors).
Authorization of access to form fields
The new feature allows hiding individual fields in a form as well as entire groups of fields. Data is loaded into the browser only after additional authentication, which provides even more effective protection against unauthorized access.
