What’s new in Comarch HRM – greater control over working time and more flexible communication in the company

Comarch HRM has gained new features that will improve working time management and enhance communication between employees and management. From now on, managers can approve schedule changes and overtime directly within the system. Administrators have the ability to customize the content of email notifications to make them clearer and better aligned with the organization’s style.
Work time management and effective communication are two pillars of a smoothly functioning organization. Comarch HRM, as a modern tool for managing HR processes, continuously expands its capabilities to better support both employers and employees. The latest version introduces features that bring greater flexibility and control over schedules. It also allows company communication to be tailored to individual needs.
Comarch HRM – what kind of system is it?
Comarch HRM is a modern, intuitive, and fully integrated platform that supports HR departments, managers, and employees in their daily human resource management processes. It is a solution designed to automate and simplify HR and payroll tasks, as well as to improve internal communication within the organization.
The system offers a wide range of features, including:
- Work time planning and settlement – the ability to create schedules, track attendance, record delays, and plan shifts in various working time models.
- Leave request management – fast submission and approval of requests for leave, business trips, or other absences, with full decision history and archive.
- HR report generation – access to detailed summaries of working time, absences, overtime, and leave plans.
- Improved communication between employees and supervisors – information exchange in one place, decision notifications, and simple approval procedures.
One of the key advantages of Comarch HRM is its online access. This allows both employees and managers to log into the system from anywhere—whether in the office, at home, or on a business trip—and from any device. This enables real-time monitoring of work schedules, quick responses to requests, and convenient management of schedules on the go.
Comarch HRM aligns with the idea of digitizing HR processes—it eliminates paper document workflows, reduces the time needed for formalities, and increases transparency across the entire organization. It is a tool that combines user convenience with tangible support for the daily work of HR departments.
Manager’s approval of working hours
One of the most important new features in Comarch HRM is the ability for supervisors to efficiently approve changes to work schedules directly. This function gives managers full control over their team’s working hours while also making it easier for employees to submit individual scheduling requests.
Example:
The process is simple and intuitive, carried out in just a few steps.
- An employee who wants to change their working hours on a specific day logs into the system, goes to the calendar, and selects the appropriate date.
- Next, they fill in the details—working hours before and after the break, as well as the reason for the change. This could be, for example, the need to step out for personal reasons during the day.
- If they normally work from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM but need to be absent between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, they enter the appropriate break in the system and then set the working hours to 7:00 AM–12:00 PM and 2:00 PM–5:00 PM.
As soon as the request is saved, the manager immediately receives a notification in their main panel, under the “Notifications” tab. From there, they can quickly review the details of the submission and then approve or reject the request, adding a brief justification for their decision. The approval process can be done both from the calendar view and from the detailed day view, providing the supervisor with flexibility in managing the workflow.
After the change is approved, the employee receives an automatic notification in the system panel, and optionally also an email or SMS. This feature also covers overtime requests — the employee simply selects the appropriate day and indicates the additional working hours, and the manager receives the corresponding submission.
Moreover, Comarch HRM allows batch approval of requests in the weekly or monthly view, significantly speeding up the processing of a larger number of requests.
Thanks to this feature, work time management becomes faster, more transparent, and better documented. Managers gain a tool that allows them to respond promptly to schedule changes, while employees have the assurance that their requests are handled efficiently and transparently.

Modification of email notification content
Comarch HRM expands the capabilities to edit the content of automatic email notifications sent by the system to employees and managers. This feature significantly enhances the quality of internal communication by allowing companies to tailor the message content to their style, organizational culture, and the language they use daily in team interactions.
From now on, administrators can not only edit the subject and body of the messages but also customize them to be shorter, clearer, and include only the information that is truly relevant to the recipient.
The system also provides the option to translate notification content into English and Ukrainian—both individually and in bulk for multiple templates at once. This enables organizations operating in an international environment to ensure consistent communication regardless of employees’ languages.
Another convenience is the use of macros within the message content. These allow for the automatic insertion of dynamic data, such as the employee’s name, the date the request was submitted, or the type of document being approved. As a result, every message is personalized and more engaging.
If needed, the administrator can also restore the system’s default notification version at any time, which is especially useful if the changes made turn out to be ineffective or require adjustments.
For example, the HR department can create leave approval notifications tailored to the company’s image—shortening the content to the most important information, removing unnecessary formalities, and ensuring consistent communication throughout the organization. This not only improves message clarity but also enhances the positive reception of corporate communications by employees.
New features that streamline daily HR operations
The new features of Comarch HRM open up opportunities for organizations to better meet the challenges of today’s labor market. This tool not only automates processes but, most importantly, facilitates daily collaboration and communication between employees and management.
Enhanced request approval mechanisms and notification editing capabilities make the system even more flexible and tailored to the unique realities of each company. This translates into faster decision-making, greater transparency in operations, and better alignment of procedures with the team’s workflow.
If your company prioritizes efficient HR processes, clear communication, and convenience for both employees and managers, Comarch HRM is a solution worth considering.
